October Update

MTS October Updates & Xmas Special Course Revealed!

Visceral Manipulation Module 1 (Abdomen) course in October ’17 by Joanne Enslin-de Wet

It was a stimulating 4 days of workshop where participants learned about the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes and ligaments, and the related fascial implications.

Through theory and practical sessions throughout the 4 days, participants learnt how to implement the visceral manipulation techniques for chronic low back pain, shoulder dysfunctional patterns, unexplained diaphragm dysfunction, hypo and hyper mobility of the spine, bladder, bowel or pelvic problems due to loss of abdominal pressure system.

An important aspect of visceral manipulation is learning how to palpate and manually listen to the various organs, making a manual evaluation and propose the neccesary treatment to the specific organ/s.

Clinical Manual Therapy (CMT) with Osteopathy Techniques Module 5 – The Upper Quadrant

Upper limb disorders are commonly a reflection of the cervico-cranium and neural structural dysfunction. Module 5 examines the cervico-cranium complex to upper limb disorders.

Participants will be taught the neurodynamic and neural membrane assessments and treatment techniques for the upper limbs as well as cranium – fascia assessments and treatment techniques for the cranium and intracranium.

CMT 5 will take place from 24 – 26 November 2017 and has 14.25 DHA accreditation points upon completion of the course.
